WEEKLY  YOGA CLASS

The next set of five weekly yoga classes begin on Thursday 7th November until Thursday 5th December.

A weekly yoga class is a great way to either begin or deepen your yoga process. You can experience and learn about yoga in a weekly class, taking time and space for yourself and practising with others. Benefits include a weekly reminder of what it’s like to have a more relaxed body, your breathing is more spacious, and your mind feels more open, with less agitation, anxiety and/or dullness.

These classes are taught according to the tradition of TKV Desikachar and Krishnamacharya (father and son) using the tools of yoga, breath-focused mindful asana, seated breathing, visualisation, meditation and ayurvedic principles.

A theme from the yoga sutras is often chosen as a backdrop for the class. Mindful movements integrated with breathing techniques are used to explore these themes.

These classes aim to help reconnect to our innate sense of space, resilience and energy, using breath-centric physical asana and Yoga Nidra meditation.
