Am I really here or gone elsewhere, preoccupied with the past or the future so that the present escapes me? That is the challenge of yoga practice, the challenge of life – Peter Hersnack

Weekly yoga classes

Next series of classes is on the week beginning  8th November, for four weeks.

A weekly yoga class is a great way to either begin or deepen your yoga process. You can experience and learn about yoga in a weekly class, taking time and space for yourself and practising with others. Some benefits can be: a weekly reminder of what it’s like to have a more relaxed body, breathing which is more spacious, and a mind that feels more open, with less agitation and/or dullness.

These classes are taught according to the tradition of TKV Desikachar and Krishnamacharya (father and son) using the tools of yoga, breath-focused mindful asana, seated breathing, visualisation, meditation and ayurvedic principles.

A theme from the yoga sutras is often chosen as a backdrop for the class. Mindful movements integrated with breathing techniques are used to explore these themes.

The weekly classes run in a series of four, with two options, a Tuesday morning class and a Wednesday evening class.

I  offer a choice of in person or live streaming.

Tuesdays 9.45 am to 11.00 am, Nov 9 – Dec 1  2021 (on line only)

Wednesdays 7.30pm to 8.45pm, Nov 10 – Dec 1  2021 (on line or in person)

This series aims to help reconnect to our innate sense of space, resilience and energy, using breath centric physical asana and Yoga Nidra meditation.

Following this series are two classes

Tuesday 10-11.15   Dec 7 – Dec 15

Wednesdays 7.30-8.45  Dec 8 – Dec 15

The four week series costs 50 euro for in person attendance and  32 euro for live streaming .

If you have any questions about these classes please get in touch with e mail and I usually get back the following day.

I also offer yoga therapy and retreat days.
