Weekly yoga classes

All classes take place online via Zoom until the Covid-19 pandemic has been suppressed.

A weekly yoga class is a great way to either begin or deepen your yoga process. You can experience and learn about yoga in a weekly class, taking time and space for yourself and practising with others. Some benefits can be: a weekly reminder of what it’s like to have a more relaxed body, breathing which is more spacious, and a mind that feels more open, with less agitation and/or dullness.

These classes are according to the tradition of Tirumalai Desikachar and Tirumalai Krishnamacharya (father and son) using the tools of yoga, breath-focused mindful asana, seated breathing, visualisation, meditation and ayurvedic principles.

A theme from the yoga sutras is often chosen as a backdrop for the class. Mindful movements integrated with breathing techniques are used to explore these themes.

The weekly classes run in a series of four, with two options, a Wednesday evening class and a Tuesday morning class.

Both are held online only, via Zoom, until the Covid-19 crisis is over.

Wednesdays 7.30pm to 8.45pm, April 14-May 5(4 weeks)

Tuesdays 10.00 am to 11.15am, April 13-May 4 (4 weeks)

This series aims to help reconnect to our innate sense of space, resilience and energy, using breath centric physical asana and Yoga Nidra meditation.

Following this series are

Wednesdays 7.30-8.45 April 14 – May 5(4 weeks)

Tuesday 10-11.15 April 13 – May 4 (4 weeks)

The four week Wednesday evening series costs €32, and the the first two classes can be taken for €8 each.
