Weekly yoga classes

From 14th September 2021 I hope to be able to offer both in person and online classes.

A weekly yoga class is a great way to either begin or deepen your yoga process. You can experience and learn about yoga in a weekly class, taking time and space for yourself and practising with others. Some benefits can be: a weekly reminder of what it’s like to have a more relaxed body, breathing which is more spacious, and a mind that feels more open, with less agitation and/or dullness.

These classes are taught according to the tradition of TKV Desikachar and Krishnamacharya (father and son) using the tools of yoga, breath-focused mindful asana, seated breathing, visualisation, meditation and ayurvedic principles.

A theme from the yoga sutras is often chosen as a backdrop for the class. Mindful movements integrated with breathing techniques are used to explore these themes.

The weekly classes run in a series of six, with two options, a Wednesday evening class and a Tuesday morning class.

I am hoping to offer a choice of in person or live streaming.

Wednesdays 7.30pm to 8.45pm, Sept 15 – Oct 20  2021

Tuesdays 10.00 am to 11.15am, Sept 14 – Oct 19  2021

This series aims to help reconnect to our innate sense of space, resilience and energy, using breath centric physical asana and Yoga Nidra meditation.

Following this series are

Wednesdays 7.30-8.45  Nov 3 – Dec 8

Tuesday 10-11.15   Nov 2 – Dec 7        

The six week series costs 75 euro for in person attendance and  48 euro for live streaming to your home .
